Show News 2010
There really isn't much news to report from the show ring for 2010.

In January 2010, our oldest Mastiff, Hercules, was diagnosed with telangiectatic
osteosarcoma.  Because his health was otherwise fantastic, we chose to amputate
his right rear leg and treat him with chemotherapy.  This decision gave us an
additional 11 months, 4 days of quality time with Hercules.  Unfortunately, due to
the cost of his medical treatment, there wasn't much money left over for things
like shows.  Also, I chose to spend as much time with Herc as I could.

The year wasn't a total loss in the show ring though.  Herc was doing so well in
October and November that I did manage to get in several show weekends in
Deland, FL, Atlanta, GA, and Ocala, FL.

In Atlanta, Yogi took BOW for his last single point, and finally pointed out.  Then,
in Ocala, he took WD for a 3 point major.  Now all he needs is one more 3 point
major to become a CH.

Callisto took BOB or BOS in every show she was entered in, and in a very short
time managed to earn all 3 majors, 3 shows in which she beat other CH's, and a
total of 16 points toward her GCH.  In Ocala, Callisto also tested for, and earned
her CGC.

I am hoping that Oso Bodacious Mastiffs has a better year in 2011.  We start our
show year beginning with both weekends in Brooksville, FL, 2 days in Ocala, FL
and then in February we're off to show for 4 days in Indianapolis, IN before
going to Westminster in NYC.

Wish us luck for a successful year in the show ring and check back periodically
for updates throughout the year.
